Join guest Golden Appler Will Bixler on an exploration through cult Japanese imprint, PSF Records
Starting in the early 80s with a few psych rock releases from the band High Rise (originally called Psychedelic Speed Freaks, where the label’s name is derived), the label soon pushed into all things experimental from improvisational, free jazz to outsider folk and neo-classical to ambient, drone based sounds.
Recently being reissued by a new label Black Editions, Will explores some of these reissued sounds as well as a few choice cuts from the labels nearly 30+ year history
